Take a good look — a deep long look! Study someone’s face. Feel yourself becoming open to seeing more than the physical and the obvious.

Look beyond the hairstyle, the imperfections of skin and facial structure. Look beyond anything and everything you think you know about this person. Allow yourself to catch a glimpse of soul!

Makeup can dress up a face with a cover girl look. But beauty is way beyond good looks. Beauty is what I call inner radiance or Inner Light. It is the awesome shining out of soul in subtle rays of brilliance and warmth.

We all have a soul and we all have Inner Light. Sometimes it needs some amping up, like adding fuel to a fire. I like to think that goodness brings out the glow in our Inner Light.

Some of us might see goodness as doing random acts of kindness. Some others may choose to be more diligent in their careers, spend more quality time with their families, or schedule volunteer time every month in their community.

Sharing our knowledge, skills and resources makes room for more of the same to come our way. It’s not possible to run out of goodness. And it’s not possible to have too much goodness.

Goodness is sourced in God. However we perceive God in our belief systems, I’m sure none of us thinks that God is ever going to run out of time for us, or not have enough love to go around for all of us. This feeling of generosity, this aroma of graciousness, is all part of the flavor of goodness that makes Inner Light glow.

Can you feel it? Can you feel the glow of your own Inner Light? Can you see it and feel it in someone else? Here’s your chance to talk to us and tell us about someone who glows with Inner Light. Tell us how you see their radiance and what it feels like to be in the glow of their goodness. Drop a line in the response box below (or click on the comment link in Facebook) and share your thoughts with us.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
