Where do we get the idea that only theologians know anything about spirituality? What makes us think that monks, gurus, and clerics are the only ones who can tap into the spiritual reservoirs and get what they need?

The good news is we all have our own pipeline! Here’s three easy ways to find it and use it.

  1. Keep the lid on. Reactivity blows the lid off your energy field. Then all your good stuff is out there for everyone else to gobble up and you’re running on empty. I’m not talking about suppressing or denying your feelings. I mean, keep them in check.
    • No raging tempers. No daylong pity parties.
    • No blaming everyone else for the way you feel.
    • Own what you are feeling and sit in it for 10 minutes or so.
    • Then let it go. Use deep breathing or physical activity to get out of the sob story in your head.
  2. Connect to your Source. How do your name your Source? God? Ultimate Truth? Universal Consciousness?
    • Take a few minutes to intend and call in that Source to be present to you.
    • Even if you can’t visualize anything, or feel anything happening, trust that it is. Source has a vested interest in you, and will always be there for you.
  3. Open your pipeline. Be willing to be helped. Be open to be loved. Be aware that you are already soul and are consistently being powered by love and light, abundance and delight.
    • Allow this soul consciousness and soul-power to flow to you.
    • Visualize it or feel it as light and warmth.
    • Trust that this essential spiritual part of yourself is totally dedicated to keeping your body healthy, your mind inspired, your spirit transformed.

Connected and filled up is a great feeling! You may not be able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, but you will be on your way to having a great day. All for the few minutes it takes to fill up. And it’s free.
